ORDINARY & TOURIST VISA FOR CANADA & MEXICO

 

TOURIST VISA REQUESTS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY THE FOLLOWING:
  1. Visa Application Form, front and back, duly completed in print or typed, in black ink and signed by the applicant or requester;
  2. Letter addressed to the Consular and Diplomatic Mission of Angola explaining the reason of your visit to Angola (this letter must be notarized);
  3. International certificate of vaccination;
  4. Bank Statement
  5. Hotel Reservation
  6. One recent color passport-sized photo;
  7. Original and photocopy of passport—the main pages and those containing information on migratory movements;
  8. Travel Itinerary
  9. Guarantee of means of subsistence, equivalent to US $200, for each day of stay in national territory, under the terms of Article 19(1) of Law 2/07 of 31 August;
  10. Payment of $70.00  Payments to the Consular Section should be by Visa, Master Card or money orders be accepted. Processing fees are non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the application).
  11. Please Mail ALL the documents REQUIRED to Our Embassy Attention ” Consular Section”
  12. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO SEND A FEDEX RETURN ENVELOP IN ORDER FOR US TO SEND YOUR PASSPORT BACK.

 

FOR BUSINESS ONLY

  1. A letter addressed to the Embassy of Angola, Consular Section (2100-2108 16th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20009) with the corresponding requirements: The Letter from the private enterprise sponsoring the visa applicant must be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Angola. The letter from the visa applicant must be notarized.
  2. Evidence of the legal establishment of the company, a copy of the business permit, a copy of evidence of payment of current taxes (industrial payment tax for the current year);
  3. República (official gazette of the republic);
  4. Identification of the person signing the letter (B.I. or passport if the signer is an Angolan citizen, or passport with Angolan visa if the signer is a foreigner);
  5. Guarantee of means of subsistence of the visa applicant (bank statement for the current month), equivalent to US$200 for each day of stay in national territory, under the terms of Article 19(1) of Law 2/07 of 31 August if (UNLESS the Letter of invitation states that they will be responsible for your stay);
  6. Two recent color passport-sized photo of the visa applicant.
  7. Original and photocopy of passport—the main pages and those containing information on migratory movements.
  8. Copy of the hotel reservation.( UNLESS the Letter of invitation states that they will be responsible for your stay).
  9. Payment of $70.00(Payments to the Consular Section should be by Visa, MasterCard, Discover   Processing fees are non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the application).
  10. Processing time 5-7 business days.

AUTHENTICATION REQUIREMENTS - CANADA

In order to be accepted in Angola, all documents issued by official entities in the United States such as birth, marriage, and death certificates, school transcripts, criminal record certificates, or documents issued by an American Court. Must do the following:

  1. ALL documents MUST be Translated into Portuguese.
  2. Document MUST be notarized by a local notary public.
  3. A translation Certification must be enclosed.
  4. Document MUST be authenticated by the Ministry of Global Affair.
  5. ONE(1) set of copies of every document MUST be presented.
  6. To finalize please make sure all documents are attached together with one single grommet.
  7. Authentication Fee $150 per Document.
  8. Duration for all process 2-3 Business day. NOTE: Your document must be authentic, intact and legitimate.
  9. The Embassy/Consulate Generals will NOT authenticate a document that contains illegal contents under Angolan laws.

 

AUTHENTICATION REQUIREMENTS - MEXICO

  5. All documents must be certified by any office of the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  6. To finalize please make sure all documents are attached together with one single grommet.
  7. ONE(1) set of copies of every document MUST be presented.
  8. Authentication Fee $150 per Document.
  9. Duration for all process 2-3 Business day. NOTE: Your document must be authentic, intact and legitimate.
  10. The Embassy/Consulate will NOT authenticate a document that contains illegal contents under Angolan laws.
